Buckwheat Pasta, Seitan and Mushrooms in a Creamy Sauce
Buckwheat pasta with seitan and mushroom garlicky cream sauce.
3 cloves garlic
Bowlful of mushrooms sliced
Pasta, I used buckwheat but it doesn’t matter which type you use
Oil for frying
Alpro single soya cream or similar
Salt and pepper
Chop an onion and fry until browned. Add 3 cloves minced garlic and fry for a minute or two longer. Add a bowlful of sliced mushrooms and the seitan and fry until liquid begins to come out of the mushrooms. Pour in a carton of Alpro soya cream and cook for about ten minutes, add some thickener if needed. Season to taste and serve over pasta.
