My name is Kate Miller. I live in Hampshire, England with my Husband, Aaron, who is also a vegan and our furry family of 2 dogs, 4 cats and 2 rabbits.
I became vegan on the 1st of November 2011, having been a vegetarian for just over a year before that. I also wish I had gone vegan earlier, it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Not only to I feel healthier, I have also lost weight and continue to do so. My asthma has also improved.
I am about to start a BA Honours in Business Studies with Environment. I want to do this to build up ethical businesses and to show people that there are other options to good quality items without the need to exploit and abuse animals. I am in the process of starting up a couple of businesses at the moment.
My dream, one day, is to own my own animal sanctuary (as well as many successful ethical businesses). I am also hoping to get into property development at some point.
I started https://www.facebook.com/HampshireVegetariansandVegans and am hoping to build this up this year and arrange get togethers and events.
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Louise Jorgensen is 49 years old and lives in the small hamlet of Caesarea, Ontario with her husband Ron, and three sons Scott, Greg and Cameron. Also sharing the residence are four resident dogs and foster dogs. Although Louise did not discover veganism until into her forties, she has always been a vegan at heart.
My name is Yerika Soho, I was born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I became Vegan about two years ago, I’ve never been happier with my decision, I’ll be vegan for life. Before that I was vegetarian for about three years. I did it gradually, I had to read a lot to know about all the animal abuse in this planet, it is alarming and extremely sad. That is the first reason I became vegan, I do not wish to contribute to the animal slavery, second I did it for the planet and third I’m having this lifestyle for my body, I want to live long enough and healthy enough so I can keep on advocate about animal suffering and animal rights.
Currently I have a home based bakery called Azucar Vegan Bakery. I cater and deliver cupcakes and sweet treats to customers and also make weekly deliveries to the first vegan/vegetarian authentic Mexican restaurant in Chicago ‘Quesadilla La Reyna del Sur’. I am also a professional model.

My name is Autumn and I’m what you might call a freelance artist, I love drawing, animation (huge lion king fan) and am an animal rights activist. I have a pack of four rescue dogs (of every shape and size, everything from a chihuahua to a husky mix, all four of them are in the picture with me) I went vegan last spring, after being vegetarian for well over ten years. I thank the graphic videos, although hard to stomach for so many reasons, for exposing me to the hard facts about dairy and have since been exploring all sorts of vegan recipes. I was a huge cheese addict for years, and at first thought I could never give that up. It was actually very easy, once I said “okay that’s it, I’m vegan” that was that. After some of the things I’d seen I just couldn’t (and still can’t) look at dairy cheese the same way ever again. For any other “cheese addicts” out there, I urge you to explore vegan options. Personally I love Daiya & Tofutti vegan “cheeses”! I have been overweight for years (no doubt thanks to all the cheese I used to have), but since going vegan I’ve dropped two pant sizes (and that’s not even with regular exercise) it’s the best thing for your health, for the planet and of course (my main reason) for the animals!
Wendy has been a professional actor for 35 years in Film, TV, Radio and Theatre … winning a most promising newcomer award for her first film YANKS with Richard Gere…and receiving Laurence Olivier nominations as Best Actress for her National Theatre title role MARTINE and this summer was to be seen in THE PETER HALL COMPANY productions of HENRY IV parts one and two.
Wendy also can be seen in the vintage duo TWO FOR TEA as well as composing her own songs to raise awareness for Animal issues and is a regular volunteer dog walker at a local rescue centre.
My name is Richard and I have been vegan for ten years. I’m an established public and school speaker on all issues relating to animal rights, and from 2008-2011 I was the Deputy Leader of the political party Animals Count. As Deputy Leader, I became the first person in British electoral history to stand for election on an animal protection manifesto in a General Election. My first book, “Nine Steps To Eden”, which explodes the myths surrounding the eating of animal products, was published in July 2011.
Outside of that, I like extremely gory movies with as many zombies and chainsaws as possible… and am quite obsessive about French Chanteuse music from the likes of France Gall, Myléne Farmer, Françoise Hardy and Alizée

I’m Dr. Barry Taylor. I’m 52, a veterinarian and I’ve been vegan for over 30 years. I was recently named PETA’s Sexiest Male Vegan Over 50. I own an animal rights oriented small animal practice in central New Hampshire in the USA. I’m also an athlete: marathoner, weight lifter, boxer, snowboarder, hiker, etc. My vegan diet has kept me young, strong and healthy way beyond most meat eaters my age. It’s great to know I have cut my risk of heart attack, stroke, diabetes, and cancer by choosing a non-violent diet, but it’s even greater to think of all of the animals whose lives have been spared by my choosing not to eat their flesh or their products over the years.

You can find us online at http://www.invsoc.org.nz Its easy to be Vegan, and the least Other Animals deserve, not to be seen as a thing, described as an “it”, but recognised and respected as our friends
