Vegan Shopping

Sometimes it is useful to have a list of the vegan products a supermarket stocks.  They don’t all have them but below are the ones that are currently available that I have been able to find so far.  I’ve also added some guides to animal ingredients to help make shopping a bit easier.

USA

Every Kroger in the U.S. has a small section in each store called “Nature’s Market,” where you can find all natural, organic and non GMO foods. They also have great vegan staples such as tofu, almond, soy and coconut milk, creams and ice creams. :) www.kroger.com  (Thanks to Lori for this info)

Sprouts Farmers Market Chain of Stores in California has section on their website detailing their vegan produce (Thanks Cory)

Trader Joe’s have an online vegan product list  (Thank you Kory)

Canada

In Canada there are a chain of grocery stores called Loblaws, they actually own thousands of other groceries store chains under different names too. They have a large selection of vegan & organic products, even sell their own brand of veggie

scallopene, different type of faux meat, soy milk, etc. I was just looking at their web site and they recently wrote an article about how to go veg. Very impressive for a massive corporation!  (Thanks to Louise for this info)
