My name is Autumn and I’m what you might call a freelance artist, I love drawing, animation (huge lion king fan) and am an animal rights activist. I have a pack of four rescue dogs (of every shape and size, everything from a chihuahua to a husky mix, all four of them are in the picture with me) I went vegan last spring, after being vegetarian for well over ten years. I thank the graphic videos, although hard to stomach for so many reasons, for exposing me to the hard facts about dairy and have since been exploring all sorts of vegan recipes. I was a huge cheese addict for years, and at first thought I could never give that up. It was actually very easy, once I said “okay that’s it, I’m vegan” that was that. After some of the things I’d seen I just couldn’t (and still can’t) look at dairy cheese the same way ever again. For any other “cheese addicts” out there, I urge you to explore vegan options. Personally I love Daiya & Tofutti vegan “cheeses”! I have been overweight for years (no doubt thanks to all the cheese I used to have), but since going vegan I’ve dropped two pant sizes (and that’s not even with regular exercise) it’s the best thing for your health, for the planet and of course (my main reason) for the animals!
